Mumbai: A fire broke out in a single-storey bungalow in Mumbai's Andheri area on Thursday morning, officials said.

He said that there is no news of any casualty so far.

A fire broke out in the bungalow located in Lokhandwala Complex at 8.57 am.

It spread to both the ground and first floors of the building, a civic official said.

“There is no news of anyone being injured at this time,” the officer said.

He said that four fire engines and other fire fighting vehicles reached the spot and efforts are being made to control the fire.

He said other agencies including city police, ambulance service, electricity operator and local civic ward staff were also deployed to deal with the situation.

The cause of the fire has not been known yet.
