Jaipur: A man and his daughter were killed and seven injured when a car collided with a truck parked on the roadside in Rajasthan's Ajmer district on Sunday.
According to the police, the accident took place in Bandarsindri area of Kishangarh on Jaipur-Ajmer National Highway.
The car riders were returning after worshiping from Khatu Shyam Temple in Sikar.
Bandarsindri SHO Parul Yadav said that 35-year-old Ravi Sindhi, resident of Kishangarh, and his one and a half year old daughter Prakshi died in the accident.
Sindhi's wife Poonam, 34, elder daughter Sakshi, 9, her 58-year-old mother Pushpa, Ajmer resident Mukesh, 38, his 37-year-old wife Bhumika, their 14-year-old daughter Raveena and 32-year-old car driver Jitendra were injured.
He said that a case has been registered under relevant sections and investigation is being done.
