Mumbai, Actress Rasika Duggal, who is awaiting the premiere of “Mirzapur Season Three”, says the team of the series is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the experience is meaningful for fans.

The Prime Video series revolves around gang wars and illegal arms cartels in the backyards of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Directed by Gurmeet Singh and produced by Excel Entertainment, this crime drama has a massive fan following among the youth. Its third season is set to premiere on the streamer soon.

Duggal, who plays Beena Tripathi in the show, said she is happy to be a part of the popular series.“It's great to have the appreciation and fan following that Mirzapur has, it's beautiful to have it in my life, the loyalty to the show is very strong. I am very happy that we have made Season 3 and that the audience will get to see it soon. "I'm very excited for them," he said in an interview here.

“I believe ‘Mirzapur’ has a fan following because people have really invested in the characters. It's not about the showiness of the show.It's about people's connection with that character, and we've already done that, and we do that every season. We have done that to the best of our ability this season too,” he added.

She may have played the unpredictable Beena Tripathi in "Mirzapur", but her favorite character was the gun-toting gangster actor Sai Guddu Bhaiya played by Ali Fazal.

“I loved what Ali did with Guddu Bhaiya. It's such a lovely part that I (Eve) would love to play,” said the 39-year-old actor.Duggal was speaking on the sidelines of the first edition of the Red Lorry Film Festival here, where his feature film "Lord Curzon's Mansion" was screened last week. The three-day festival was organized by BookMyShow.

"Lord Curzon's Mansion" is a black comedy thriller that has been described as a revelatory story about the Asian diaspora in the UK.

The film, also starring "Made in Heaven" star Arjun Mathur, marks the directorial debut of actor Anshuman Jha, known for his roles in "Love Sex Aur Dhokha" and "Lakdabagha".

According to Duggal, Jha, as a first-time director, has done a great job on the film.“It's a black comedy thriller so there are some intense moments in it. It's a little confusing and that's what black comedy is all about."

The actor also has several projects in the pipeline, including a film with Gulshan Devaiah titled "Little Thomas", a sports drama series "Spike", a "Shekhar Home", a detective show also starring Kay Kay Menon and Ranvi Shorey. ,

"I have to shoot 'Delhi Crime' season 3 and another new show this year," Duggal said. He further added, “I am looking for a good rom-com."
