“India has momentum and I want to extend that momentum. I have the privilege of being a part of the golden age that India is in. The world has changed and India is winning,” said Sharma, who had earlier voted in Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, where he was born.

He said, “The current government is focused on financial inclusion, after June 4 the fintech sector will expand further.”

Asserting that better days are ahead for Paytm, Sharma had earlier said that they have learned lessons in the past and "the worst is over for the company".

A total of 1.52 crore voters, including 82 lakh men, 69 lakh women, 1,228 third gender voters, will exercise their franchise at 13,00 polling stations spread across 2,627 locations in Delhi.
