Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 9: Just days after taking second place among French business schools in the Times Education 2024 international impact ranking, Excelia Business School has been recognized once again for its initiatives aimed at contribute to the ecological environment and social transition, this time in the Positive Impact Rating for Business Schools worldwide.

Ranked among the 50 business schools most committed to sustainable development

For the second year in a row, Excelia Business School has been ranked at level 4 out of 5, 'Transforming', which was the highest level achieved by any of the European schools presented. Of the 8 French business schools included in the Positive Impact Rating, only 5 managed to reach level 4.

Excelia Business School is thus consolidated among the 50 most committed establishments in the world, although this year's Positive Impact Rating included 32 more schools.

Areas in which Excelia Business School stood out

As with last year, Excelia Business School's overall score was higher than the average of all other schools ranked at level 4 'Transforming', and the PIR report highlights a number of strengths that set the school apart:

Its governance: its vision of social commitment and how CSR is the driving force of the school.

Their study programs: the inclusion of ethics and CSR in their study plans, the participation of social actors in the learning experience and their effectiveness in forming responsible future business leaders with the necessary skills.

Its civic commitment – ​​in particular, the relevance of its commitment to CSR, both in terms of the values ​​promoted by its members and the recognition received from its stakeholders.

A grade based on student feedback.

The Positive Impact Rating is based on students' opinions of their school's commitment to sustainable development. At Excelia Business School, the Oxygen student association carried out the survey, sending the PIR questions to the students.

The Positive Impact Rating positions business schools in one of five different levels:

Level 1 “Beginner”: schools that are starting or considering starting

Level 2 'Emerging': schools with a stated commitment to positive action in one or more areas

Level 3 “Progressing”: schools that demonstrate evidence of results in several dimensions of impact
