The bus carrying pilgrims from Shiv Khori shrine to Katra was targeted by terrorists around 6.10 pm on Sunday when it reached Pauni area of ​​Reasi district bordering Rajouri district.

Officials said the driver lost control after the attack and the bus fell into a ditch, killing at least nine people and injuring more than 30.
