Kolkata, Eveready Industries India announced fourth quarter profit of Rs 1 crore for the period ending March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 14.39 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY23, with a marginal decline in operating revenue to Rs 281 crore. Done.

However, sequentially, profit saw a marginal decline compared to the December 2023 quarter. The company reported revenue for full FY24 at Rs 1,314.2 crore, a marginal decline of one per cent from Rs 1,327.7 crore in FY23.

Profit after tax (PAT) for the year witnessed a massive 231 per cent increase to Rs 66.7 crore in FY24 from Rs 20.1 crore in FY23.



Suvamoy Saha said, “Revenue softened mainly due to weak rural demand in batteries and flashlights and industry-wide price deflation impacting the lighting segment.
