New Delhi [India], The European Union (EU) and India have come together to promote collaboration between start-ups working on battery recycling technology for electric vehicles (EVs) through a matchmaking event, a press release said. According to the release, launched under the India-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC), the initiative aims to enhance cooperation between European and Indian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups in the clean technology sector. This was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Europa Commission President Ursula. Von der Leyen In April 2022, India-EU TTC seeks to boost innovation and build stronger economic ties. The matchmaking event provides a platform to Indian and EU start-ups in e-battery recycling technologies to present their innovative solutions and connect with venture capitalists. Twelve start-ups adopting the solution, six from each region, will be selected to present their ideas during a matchmaking event scheduled for June 2024. Following the presentations, six finalists, three from the EU and three from India, will travel to Will be given an opportunity.India and the European Union respectively, the event aims to identify, support and promote start-ups dedicated to advancing battery recycling technologies for EVs.
