After assuming charge, MoS Prasad said that the electronics and IT industry has witnessed tremendous growth and transformation in the last 10 years under the visionary initiatives and schemes of PM Modi.
He said, "I wholeheartedly thank PM Modi for giving me such important responsibilities. For today’s era, electronics and IT is a major enabler, especially for the skilled youth,” said Minister of State Prasad.
"Making India a global IT and technology hub is the Prime Minister's vision and over the last 10 years, PM Modi has made serious efforts to achieve that goal," the minister said.
From semiconductors to artificial intelligence, electronics manufacturing to 6G, Indian companies have matured and with billions of dollars of investment, the country is poised to become a global supply chain hub across industries.
