An additional counting center has been set up in Delhi to count the votes cast by migrant voters from three Lok Sabha constituencies of Kashmir.

The fate of 100 candidates will be decided in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, prominent faces of which are senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Minister of State (PMO), Dr Jitendra Singh, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti.

Jitendra Singh is the BJP candidate from the Kathua-Udhampur Lok Sabha seat, while Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti are contesting from Baramulla and Anantnag-Rajouri constituencies respectively.

Challenge to Union Minister Jitendra Singh from Congress's Chaudhary Lal Singh; Omar Abdullah has been challenged by Sajjad Ghani Lone of the People's Conference (PC) and Engineer Rashid of the Awami Ithad Party (AIP), while Mehbooba Mufti has been challenged by Mian Altaf Ahmed of the National Conference (NC) as the main contestant.

Officials have deployed staff for all 10 counting centres.

During this Lok Sabha election, more than 58 percent voting took place in Jammu and Kashmir. This is the highest in the last 35 years.

Overall, around 51 per cent voting was recorded for the three constituencies of Srinagar, Baramulla and Anantnag-Rajouri in Kashmir.This is the highest turnout in the valley since 1984.

Counting of votes for Srinagar Lok Sabha seat will take place at Sher-e-Kashmir Convention Center in Srinagar. There are 24 candidates in the fray in this constituency.

Counting of votes for Baramulla seat will take place at the Government Boys Degree College in Baramulla city. There are 21 candidates in the fray in this constituency.

For the Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat, which is spread across both regions of the Union Territory, including Anantnag and Kulgam districts of Kashmir and Rajouri and Poonch of Jammu division, the counting will take place at Boys Degree College and Government Post in Anantnag city. -Graduate College in Rajouri city.Counting of votes for Kathua-Udhampur seat will take place at a government degree college in Kathua city. There are 11 candidates in the fray in this constituency.

Counting of votes for Jammu Lok Sabha seat, where 21 candidates are in the fray, will take place at Maulana Azad Memorial College and Government Polytechnic College in Jammu city.

The migrant votes will be counted at Government Women's College Gandhi Nagar in Jammu, Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Udhampur city and J&K House in New Delhi.

CCTV cameras and videography have been arranged at all counting centers in the Union Territory and New Delhi.
