New Delhi [India], The Enforcement Directorate has moved the Delhi High Court against the trial court's order granting bail to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Excise Policy money laundering case.

ED urged Delhi High Court to stay the trial court's order granting bail to Kejriwal.

The Delhi High Court agreed to consider the ED's plea seeking urgent hearing on its appeal challenging the trial court's order granting bail to Kejriwal.

The High Court said that the file related to the case will come before the bench in 10-15 minutes.

On Thursday, Rouse Avenue Court granted regular bail to Kejriwal in the money laundering case despite the Enforcement Directorate opposing the bail plea.

Justice Bindu, vacation judge of Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court, granted bail on furnishing a surety bond of Rs 1 lakh.

Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 this year.

On 10 May, the Supreme Court granted him interim bail till 1 June to allow him to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections.
