New Delhi: The BJP-led Center is hatching a "big conspiracy" against the AAP, its national secretary Pankaj Gupta alleged on Tuesday in the ED's supplementary chargesheet naming the party in the alleged excise policy scam.

Gupta also accused the BJP of wanting to eliminate AAP, which rules Punjab and Delhi, at any cost.

A city court on Tuesday took cognizance of the seventh supplementary charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money-laundering case related to the alleged excise policy "scam".

The federal investigation agency has named Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and AAP in the supplementary charge sheet.

Special Judge Kaveri Baweja took cognizance of the charge sheet and issued summons to Kejriwal for July 12.

The anti-money laundering agency on March 21 arrested Kejriwal, 55, who is also AAP's national convenor, from his official residence in Delhi.

It alleged that Kejriwal was the "kingpin and main conspirator" of the excise duty "scam" and was "indirectly responsible" for it.

AAP leader Gupta claimed that the ED failed to recover any "corruption money" in the case.
