Kamjong (Manipur) [India] An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale hit Kamjong in Manipur on Wednesday, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).

The NCS said the epicenter of the earthquake was located at latitude 24.72 North and longitude 94.25 East and at a depth of 40 kilometers.

According to NCS, the earthquake occurred at 5:32 pm today.

"Eq of M: 3.4, Date: 12/06/2024 17:32:12 IST, Latitude: 24.72 North, Longitude: 94.25 East, Depth: 40 km, Location: Kamjong, Manipur," NCS said in a post. 'X'.

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), earlier on June 2, an earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale had occurred in Chandel, Manipur in the early hours of June 2.

The NCS said the epicenter of the earthquake was located at latitude 23.9 North and longitude 94.10 East and at a depth of 77 kilometers.

According to NCS, the earthquake occurred at 2:28 pm (IST) on Sunday.
