Dubai [UAE], Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has collaborated with Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) to organize a seminar highlighting 'Etiquette Friendly to the parents'.

The briefing aimed to encourage greater private sector participation in the program, with the aim of promoting a healthy work-life balance. 110 participants from 66 companies attended the seminar.

The Parent-friendly Label program was launched by the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority to recognize organizations in the semi-government, private and third sectors of the UAE that provide a positive environment that helps parents achieve a balance between work, family and life. Childcare. Many organizations in the UAE have begun their journey to become a parent-friendly workplace, positively impacting over 148,000 employees and over 50,000 children to date.

Sana Mohamed Suhail, director general of ECA, said the Parent-Friendly Label program has expanded its reach to receive applications from organizations across the UAE.

Suhail emphasized the importance of stakeholder engagement and support, noting that collaborating with Dubai Chambers will enhance the local business community's awareness of the programme, its objectives and the benefits of developing a supportive environment for parents who they work.

As a voluntary program that recognizes excellent workplace parenting support initiatives, the program was designed in accordance with international best practices and benchmarks. The anticipated benefits of parent-supportive practices were clearly seen throughout the workplace culture of employees, as evidenced in the ECA report "The future of work: the rise of parent-friendly workplaces in the United Arab Emirates", particularly with respect to the ability of employee organizations to attract and retain talent.

The program trains working parents to balance work and family responsibilities, helping to ensure their children receive the best care and attention.
