New Delhi: The Faculty of Law of Delhi University postponed the LLB final session examination scheduled for Thursday, a night before the scheduled date, an official notification said.

The examinations have been postponed under the orders of DU Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh.

Speaking to, Vice Chancellor Singh said that the examinations have been postponed due to low attendance preventing many students from appearing in the examinations.

He said students have been asked to take two weeks of classes to make up for the loss in attendance.

"After two weeks of compensating for the loss of students' attendance, new dates for conducting the final session examinations will be issued," he said.

"Due to the orders of the Vice-Chancellor, the examinations of LLB II/IV/VI session scheduled to be held on July 4 have been postponed," the order issued late on Wednesday night said.

“New dates will be notified in due course,” it added.
