Hyderabad, Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) personnel and police on Friday arrested a drug smuggler and two medical students who were buying ganja.

A police release said Suresh Singh is a habitual drug offender and many medical students used to buy ganja from him.

It said the accused had come to Koti area here on Friday to sell ganja to his regular customers, who are medical students.

Acting on credible information, officers apprehended him and recovered 10 pouches of ganja (weighing 80 grams) and two cell phones from his possession.

It said both the medical students were found positive in marijuana urine test.

A case under NDPS Act, 1985 was registered.

It said four medical students have been identified so far and efforts are being made to identify other medical students who consumed the drug.
