In Patna (Bihar) [India], the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Vijay Sinha, attacked the opposition on Saturday amid the dispute over the leak of documents and asked them to cooperate with the agencies in the investigation of irregularities in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET)-UG examinations.

"Are kya kya khel huaa tha inke shashan mein! (What games were played under the Rashtriya Janata Dal government?) Don't mislead the public, rather cooperate with the agencies in their investigation into the irregularities in the NEET-UG exams "said Sinha while speaking to ANI.

The Bihar Deputy CM further reiterated his allegations against RJD leader and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Tejashwi Yadav, stating, "I have been asking this for the last three-four days. Why is the opposition leader ( LoP) (Tejashwi Yadav) Can't you clarify whether your secretary Pritam Kumar got a room reserved for Sikander Kumar Yadavendu (one of the accused in the paper leak row)?

"Why can't you respond to this? There should be an inquiry into this. When will the mentality of playing with the future of children be released? Under the RJD government in Bihar, two chairpersons of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) went to jail. They have a lot of experience. How come the Congress party has the guts to talk about the NEET dispute?

Earlier, Vijay Sinha claimed that Tejashwi's secretary Pritam Kumar had called a guest house worker of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to reserve a room for Sikander Kumar Yadavendu, one of the accused. in the case.

She said the word 'Mantri' was used for the former deputy CM.

"On May 1, Tejashwi Yadav's secretary Pritam Kumar called guest house worker Pradip Kumar to book a room for Sikander Kumar Yadavendu, who was jailed in Ranchi. On May 4, Pritam Kumar called again to Pradip Kumar to book the room at the NHAI guest house. The word 'Mantri' was used for Tejashwi Yadav," Sinha said at a press conference on Thursday.

The deputy CM also sought clarification from Tejashwi Yadav on whether Pritam Kumar is still his personal secretary and who is Sikander Yadavendu.

"Tejashwi Yadav should clarify whether Pritam Kumar is still his PS and should also clarify who Sikander Kumar Yadavendu is. When Lalu Prasad Yadav was imprisoned in Ranchi, Sikander Kumar Yadavendu used to be in Lalu's service. He was a junior engineer in the irrigation sector "They play with people's future, scam when they are in power and try to influence the appointment process," Sinha alleged.

The Patna police arrested several people, including some candidates who had taken the NEET exam.

Of them, four have been identified as Anurag Yadav, a NEET candidate, his uncle Sikandar Yadavendu and two others: Nitish Kumar and Anand.

Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav broke his silence on the allegations leveled against him.

He said the BJP wanted to "divert attention" from the kingpin, so they dragged his name.

The RJD leader said, "INDIA alliance is united on this issue. We want the NEET exam to be canceled immediately. They (BJP) have all the investigation agencies, they can call PS or PA anyone for investigation. They want to Divert the kingpin issue. For those who want to bring up my name or that of my personal assistant, this will not benefit anyone. The engineer in question could be a beneficiary, but Amit Anand and Nitish Kumar are the masterminds of the leak. "People in the country know that every time the BJP comes to power, there are document leaks."

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is facing criticism for alleged irregularities in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (undergraduate) exams and this year's NET exam. This resulted in several protests across the country with protesters and political parties demanding the dissolution of the NTA.

A record 67 students achieved a perfect score of 720 out of 720, adding to concerns.

Meanwhile, the Education Ministry has formed a seven-member committee to reform the examination process and functioning of the NTA.
