New Delhi: Drug firm Divi's Laboratories on Thursday said it is looking to invest around Rs 700 crore to expand production capacity to meet customer requirement.

The company is in the process of entering into a long-term supply agreement with a customer and plans to expand capacity at its manufacturing facility with an estimated investment between Rs 650 crore and Rs 700 crore, which will be financed from internal accruals. said in a regulatory filing.

I said, the proposed facility is expected to be operational around January, 2027.

It added that due to the confidentiality agreement signed with the customer, the company is not allowed to disclose any further quantitative details.

Shares of Divis Laboratories were trading 0.75 per cent higher at Rs 3,845 per share on the BSE.
