Czechia (Czech Republic), India's Avani Prashant (79) and Durga Nittur (81) both made disappointing starts and were in danger of missing the cut at the Czech Ladies Challenge on the LET Access Tour.

At the Panorama Golf Resort, Avani shot 79 with two birdies and two other bogeys and a double bogey besides a quintuple bogey (5 overs on a single hole) on the par-4 third.

Avani was tied at 80th while Durga was tied at 107th and were at risk of missing the cut.

Meanwhile, New Zealand's Hannie Song fired the round of the day (69) to sit on top of the leaderboard.

Czech amateur Amalie Tauer, France's Ariane Klotz and Nikki Hofstede of the Netherlands were tied for second at two-under-par after the first round.

Sweden's Kajsa Arvefjall, who won the 2021 Golf Uppsala Open as an amateur, is tied for fifth with Scotland's Clara Young at 71 (-1).
