Mumbai, Director RS Prasanna has announced that the shooting of Aamir Khan starrer "Sitaare Zameen Par" has been completed.

On Saturday, "Shubh Mangal Saavdhan" fame Prasanna shared an update on his Instagram story, along with a picture of a cake with the title of the film along with the caption "It's a wrap".

In a separate Instagram story, the filmmaker praised Khan for being a "fantastic leader" and a "protector".

"From watching 'Lagaan' on screen to getting up off the floor. Standing next to Aamir sir, learning from him, admiring him and working with him. God has been extremely kind and generous. There is so much to learn from sir. Many fronts.

“But above all… how to be an amazing human being… full of love, passion, absolute humility… endless curiosity and enthusiasm to learn… a brilliant leader, an exceptionally creative culture builder… constantly empowering "The people around him... extremely trustworthy... and a protector," Prasanna wrote in his post.

Produced by Khan's banner Aamir Khan Productions, "Sitaare Zameen Par" also stars Genelia Deshmukh.

"What a joy a human being is. You are a treasure my friend," the director wrote on his Instagram story along with a picture of himself with Deshmukh.

"Sitaare Zameen Par" will also mark Khan's return to the silver screen after 2022's "Laal Singh Chaddha".

Recently, Khan co-produced "Missing Ladies" with director and his ex-wife Kiran Rao. His next production is Rajkumar Santoshi's "Lahore 1947", starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.
