Antwerp (Belgium): Indian golfer Diksha Dagar made a modest start with a one-over 72 in the first round of the Jabra Ladies Open here.

Diksha made four birdies against five bogeys starting on the 15th, which is the starting tee for the back nine at the Evian Golf Resort course this week.

She was T-37, while the only other Indian to finish the round was Tvesa Malik, who had a tough time with a round of 6-over 77. At T-101, he is in danger of missing the cut.

There are a total of six Indians in the field and apart from Diksha and Tavesa, Pranavi Urs completed her round but was in danger of missing the cut at 8-over for the day.

The remaining three are yet to complete their rounds. Amandeep Dral was 1-under and T-22 but had six more holes to play, while Sneha Singh had to play with 2-over C. Vaani Kapoor was at 6-over with three holes left.

France's Agathe Sauzon got off to a great start with a 5-under 66. Also at 5-under, Morocco's Ines Lacleach completed the round with three more.

Sauzon had seven birdies against two bogeys, while Lacleche had six birdies and one bogey, but still had three more to play.

Swiss stars Morgan Metroux and Jana Melichova were tied for third or ATK with 67 points each
