Ratlam, Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Thursday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for accusing the opposition party of taking money from "Adani and Ambani".

Speaking at a rally in Telangana on Wednesday, PM Modi accused the Congress of making a "deal" with Ambani and Adani, and asked whether the party should ask the two businessmen to stop its leader Rahu Gandhi from "moving black money". Load" got to "abuse" them.

He said, "I want to ask the land of Telangana, 'Shahzada' to announce how much money has been raised from Ambani-Adani. Has a lot of money reached the Congress, has there been an agreement that abusing Ambani-Adani has stopped overnight?'' the PM said while addressing an election rally in Vemulawada, Telangana.

Hitting back, Singh, while addressing a rally in Ratlam, said, "Modiji said Ambani and Adani have sent money to Congress. So were the Enforcement Directorate, CB sleeping? We are ashamed to call him our PM.He is not even true to Adani."An Ambani."

Singh further alleged that Modi had promised to bring back black money stashed abroad, but instead it is going abroad.

The Congress Rajya Sabha MP further claimed that around 100 families own all the capital of India and if they were to leave, the country's economy would collapse.

Singh said, “Demonetisation rendered three crore people unemployed.Modi government has not waived off any loan of farmers in the last 10 years. Our (UPA) government had waived off farm loans worth a total of Rs 72,000 crore."

Noting that many leaders hold big positions even though they did not manage to win from their booths, Singh said, "We must resolve to ensure the victory of the Congress at each booth".

The Congress has fielded former Union Minister Kantilal Bhuria against the BJP's Anita Chauhan, wife of Madhya Pradesh Forest Minister Nagar Singh Chauhan, from Ratlam, where Lok Sabha elections will be held on May 13.
