Angul (Odisha) [India], Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha candidate from Sambalpur, Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday participated in the historic 'Hingula Lok Mahotsav' and at the Maa Hingula Temple at Talcher in Angul district of Odisha Pradhan Performed puja. He said, "Today is the main festival of Maa Hingula...I have come here to pray and seek her blessings. I hope that our country and Odisha will continue to move forward on the path of development..."I have full faith in Maa Hingula. We will bless everyone. I will pray that everyone's wishes are fulfilled," he further said. Meanwhile, former Rajya Sabha MP and BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from Dhenkanal Rudra Narayan Pani attacked the Odisha government led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and said, "Modi People's appreciation towards 'Guarantee' is increasing day by day and the state government here is doing zero work. Corruption is being done in the state in the name of Odisha CM (Naveen Patnaik). The people of the state are facing a lot of problems due to their corruption... It is noteworthy that BJP candidate from Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituency Dharmendra Pradhan is contesting the elections after a gap of 1 year. Voting will be held in Sambalpur on 25th May. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) got the highest number of seats, followed by BJP and Congress. BJD won 12 seats, BJ came second on 8 seats and Congress got just one seat. Lok Sabha elections in Odisha, covering 21 constituencies, are scheduled to be held in four phases. Voting dates have been set for May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1.
