Chetan, who plays the role of Parashuram in the show, said, “A big reason for me to join 'Shiv Shakti' is my mother, who has been a keen follower of the show ever since it went on air. She has a devotion towards Lord Shiva. " Such that she watches the episodes over and over again."

"Playing different roles allows me to connect with the audience in different ways, but this character is very special to me. Playing Parashuram is an opportunity I will cherish, especially considering my mother's love for the show I am hopeful and eager that we receive the same affection and support from all our viewers and well-wishers as I have always received."

The show based on the eternal love between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati is all set to introduce an interesting twist with the entry of Lord Vishnu's sixth avatar, Parashuram in the upcoming episodes.

In the upcoming episode, Parashurama arrives to meet Lord Shiva, but Lord Ganesha refuses to let him inside saying that his father is busy and does not want to be disturbed. This enraged Parashurama, leading to a fierce battle with Ganesha.

Just as it looks like Ganesha is about to win, Parashurama throws his ax at Ganesha. Out of respect for his father, who gifted the ax to Parashurama, Ganesha does not retaliate. Instead, he lets the ax strike him, breaking his left tooth and causing it to fall to the ground.
