The deceased has been identified as Swati, a native of Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh.
She was preparing for competitive exams in Delhi for the last 10 years.
Police received a call regarding the incident at 3.20 am after which the team reached the spot.
Although Swati was taken to a nearby hospital, she was declared 'brought dead'.
Initial investigation revealed that Swati lived in that building.

A police officer said, "We are investigating the matter. The police are taking the statement of the student living in that building." He said that the reason behind this step is not yet known and no suicide note has been recovered.
