New Delhi: The Delhi Police Crime Branch is organizing a painting competition on the theme "Say No to Drugs", officials said on Wednesday.

An official statement from Delhi Police said the initiative is in line with the Centre's broader campaign of 'Drug Free India' and aims to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sanja Bhatia said, "We encourage all art lovers to participate and help spread the message of a drug-free society."

"This competition is not just about art. It is about standing against drugs and contributing to a safe, healthy India," he said.

The painting competition will run from May 15 to June 15 and is open to all.

According to the statement, the campaign is inspired by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and supported by Union Home Minister Amit Shah's resolve to eliminate drug trafficking.
