New Delhi [India], Delhi Police has said that its Special Cell had registered an FIR in connection with the circulation of a doctored video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's speech regarding reservation issues on various social media platforms. , the Home Ministry had written. Complaint It has been found that some morphed videos are being circulated by users of Facebook and Twitter. It appears that the video is being doctored to spread misinformation to create disharmony between communities, which is likely to impact public peace and public order issues, the Home Ministry added. Police said that a case has been registered under sections 153/153A/465/469/171G and 66C of the IT Act. The Home Ministry has also attached a report along with the complaint containing details of the link and handle from where Home's doctored videos have surfaced. After the case was registered, now the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit of the Special Cell has started investigation.
