New Delhi [India], Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda will unveil three initiatives at the 'Ayushman Bharat Health' event at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi on June 28.

According to an official statement, the initiatives will be announced in the presence of Ministers of State for Health and Family Welfare Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao and Anupriya Singh Patel.

The Union Health Minister will launch a virtual assessment of National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) for sub-centres of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAM).

To expedite this process and support these health institutions, the Ministry of Health has developed a dashboard that will help national, state and district health institutions and centers to quickly monitor compliance with IPHS standards and take appropriate action.

The Union Health Minister will launch the IPHS panel during tomorrow's event.

During the event, the NQAS for Integrated Public Health Laboratories (IPHL), located in district hospitals, will be announced.

The Standards will improve the quality and competence of testing and management systems in IPHLs, which will have a positive impact on the reliability of test results and help gain the trust of clinicians, patients and the public with regarding laboratory results.

Revised guidelines for Kayakalp will also be published tomorrow.

An innovative new functionality for instant issuance of licenses and registrations through the Food Safety and Compliance System (FoSCoS) will also be launched.

FoSCoS is a state-of-the-art pan-India IT platform designed to address all food safety regulatory needs. This innovative system simplifies the licensing and registration processes, offering an improved user experience.

Key stakeholders including senior central and state government officials, healthcare providers and international health organizations will also attend the event.
