New Delhi: The Delhi government will hold an emergency meeting on Friday afternoon to take stock of the situation in the city after heavy rains left the national capital waterlogged and traffic disrupted in many areas.

Officials said that all cabinet ministers and top officials will attend the meeting to be held at the Secretariat at 2 pm.

Normal life has been affected due to heavy rains in Delhi.

A part of the roof of Delhi Airport's Terminal 1 collapsed due to rain, killing one person and injuring six.

Safdarjung weather station recorded 153.7 mm rainfall, which started around 3 am.

Delhiites shared videos and pictures on social media of submerged vehicles and long traffic jams on waterlogged roads.
