Special Judge Kaveri Baweja of Rouse Avenue Court passed the order on expiry of the judicial custody granted earlier.

Further, the court directed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to provide a copy of the prosecution complaint to CM Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Last week, taking cognizance of the ED complaint, Judge Baweja had issued a production warrant for CM Kejriwal for July 12.

The federal anti-money laundering agency had filed its eighth chargesheet before the special court on May 17, formally naming AAP and its national convener Kejriwal as accused.

Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court ordered the release of CM Kejriwal on interim bail, sending his plea against his arrest and subsequent remand by the ED to a larger bench for an official ruling on questions of law.

However, he will not be able to come out of jail as he is in custody in the CBI case.

His petitions seeking bail and challenging his arrest by the CBI are pending before the Delhi High Court.
