New Delhi [India], Delhi Capitals team members Yash Dhull, Lali Yadav and Gulbadin Naib spent time with the players of DC Aravali Cricket Academy in Faridabad on Saturday. DC Academy players had a memorable experience on Saturday. An opportunity to interact and get some practice with the Delhi Capitals stars Notably, Dhull, who led India to the Under-19 World Cup 2022 title, is a DC Academy talent. He was acquired by the Delhi-based franchise in the IPL 2022 auction, Dhull is yet to appear for DC in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season. He appeared in four matches last season and scored 16 runs at an average of 5.33. Lalit has a chance to make an impact for Delhi in the current season. The 27-year-old all-rounder has played two matches, scoring 10 runs and taking no wickets in the three overs he bowled in both the matches. Afghanistan all-rounder Gulbadin Naib was brought in as a replacement for the injured Mitchell Marsh for the remainder of the IPL season, his first stint in the IPL. NB signed its reserve price at Rs 50 lakh. Marsh was ruled out of the tournament due to injury. The Australian all-rounder could play only four matches for DC this season and managed to score 61 runs and take one wicket in three innings. His highest score was 23. This is the second consecutive season that DC has lost his services midway through the tournament. DC are currently sixth in the table with ten points from 11 matches with a negative net run rate of 0.442. With five wins in the current season, DC will look to extend their win record against Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday.
