New Delhi, Delhi Capitals defeated Mumbai Indians by 10 runs in another high-scoring Indian Premier League match here on Saturday.

Delhi Capitals, who came to bat first, made a huge score of 257/4. In reply, M scored 247/9 runs in 20 overs.

DC youngster Jake Fraser-McGurk started hitting the ball around from the start and took DC to 92 without any loss in the powerplay.

Fraser-McGurk scored 84 runs from 25 balls before being dismissed by Pius Chawla, who was caught in the deep while trying to clear the fence.

Shai Hope maintained the momentum provided by Fraser-McGurk's brutal attack, scoring 41 runs in just 17 balls with the help of five sixes, while Tristan Stubbs scored unbeaten 48 runs in 25 balls.

For MI, Tilak Verma scored 63 off 32 balls, Hardik Pandya scored 46 off 24 balls and Tim David scored 37 off just 17 balls as the visitors moved closer to 65/3 in six overs .
