Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Mother-to-be actress Deepika Padukone made a spectacular appearance at the 'Kalki 2898 AD' event held in Mumbai on Wednesday.
The 'Piku' actress looked stunning in an all black outfit which highlighted her baby bump.
The event was hosted by Prabhas' friend Rana Daggubati.
During the programme, host Rana introduced Deepika and jokingly asked if she was still in character.
Deepika laughingly replied, "The film ran for almost three years. So I thought, why not? Just three more months."
When Deepika was asked about her experience working on Kalki 2898 AD, she said, "It was an incredible experience, a great learning experience." We went through different stages to figure out what the film was about."
For those unaware, Deepika Kalki plays the role of a pregnant woman in 2898 - AD. In the trailer, Deepika can be seen carrying a child in her womb who will bring a nemesis to the evil forces in the film.
The actress was also joined on stage by co-stars Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan.
Amitabh was seen wearing an all black outfit while he wore a striped jacket, Prabhas looked dapper in a black shirt. Kamal Haasan wore a beige jacket.
