On Rohtak Lok Sabha seat, Deependra Singh Hooda defeated BJP's Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma by 3,45,298 votes.

Congress leader Kumari Shailaja, who won from Haryana's Sirsa, remarked that the party could have performed better in the Lok Sabha elections and the next target would be to adopt a better strategy to register a decisive victory in the upcoming assembly elections.
