Ghaziabad (UP), In a suspected suicide case, an 18-year-old youth died after being hit by a train engine. Police said that on Sunday some passers-by saw his body near the railway track.
He said that the body of Akash, a class 8 student, was found near a railway track near Behta-Hajipur area of Loni Border police station area.
The locomotive was going from Shamli in Uttar Pradesh to Delhi.
Police said that the driver of the locomotive said in his report that the boy died after being hit by the engine.
ACP Ankur Vihar Bhaskar Verma said that the police is investigating the case from all aspects.
He said that the body has been sent for post-mortem.
