Amethi (UP): The body of a man accused of murder was found in a village here on Saturday, police said.
Superintendent of Police Anoop Kumar Singh said that 35-year-old Monu Pasi was a resident of Mahmoodpur in Amethi.
Singh said, "The body was found near Ramnath Purva village. A bottle of pesticide was also recovered from the body."
Police have sent the body for postmortem to know the cause of death.
Singh said, Pasi was accused of murdering the village head's brother on June 28.
“Our teams were searching for Pasi in the murder case,” the SP said.
