New Delhi, DCM Shriram Ltd on Tuesday said it has signed an agreement with the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai to pursue research and development in the chemical industry.

Under the MoU, ICT Mumbai will undertake exclusive R&D projects for DCM Shriram Chemicals in areas such as chemical engineering, processing, epoxy polymers and composites and water treatment chemicals, the company said in a statement.

The MoU was signed by Anirudh Pandit, Vice-Chancellor, ICT Mumbai and Debabrata Rautare, Chief Product Development and Innovation Officer, DC Shriram Chemicals.

“This partnership is in line with our commitment to pioneer cutting-edge solutions and enhance our product development capabilities,” said Sableel Nandi, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, DCM Shriram Chemicals.
