Digital Shakti was started in 2018 with a vision to introduce women to the digital age to enhance their skills. This initiative started from Punjab University. So far, it has trained 6 lakh women on how to stay safe in the digital world and in the fifth phase it aims to increase that number to 10 lakh.

NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma said, "This program is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of Digital India."

"Despite India being on the brink of becoming the world's third largest power, women still face struggles across all sectors. The gender gap remains significant, with only 43 per cent women in the science sector, less than the desired 50 per cent. It's a low percentage," he added.

Under this programme, CPF has set up responders in each state who will provide training and upskill women and girls in digital skills, cyber security awareness, AI, emerging technologies, etc.

Founder Major Vineet Kumar said, “This is one of the biggest campaigns in the country, which is continuously being run to bring about change. I would like to express my special thanks to the ASHA workers, NGOs, industry professionals and everyone associated with the campaign. I give.” and Global Chairman of CPF.

In its first phase, the program sensitized more than 60,000 participants, grew to 1,05,000 participants in the second phase and educated 1,50,000 women and girls in the third phase.
