He is the best person to lead this campaign inside the Parliament." After the meeting, Venugopal said that the former party chief would take a decision soon.
He also said that the revival of Congress has begun and the atmosphere in the CWC is now completely different from four months ago.
"The people of India have spoken...Congress has been given another chance and now it is up to us to take it forward," he said.
“As far as vacating the Wayanad or Rae Bareli seat is concerned, the decision will be taken on or before June 17. It is clear that one can have only one seat. Both the seats are very close to him. So the decision will be taken soon,” Venugopal said.
