Satna (MP), police said a woman and her two minor children were found dead in their home, while her husband's body was recovered from a railway track on Wednesday.
Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Gupta told reporters, prima facie it appears that the woman and children have been murdered.
He said the reason behind the deaths was unclear and police were investigating the case from all angles.
Gupta said the bodies of the woman and her children were found in their rented house, while her husband was found dead on a railway track in Nazirabad area under Kotwali police station limits.
He said that the deceased have been identified as Rakesh Chaudhary (35), his wife Sangeeta (32) and their two sons aged 6 and 8 years.
