Banda (UP), Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday alleged that the BJP is a threat to the Constitution while the Covid vaccine is putting people's lives in danger.

Addressing an election rally here, the former Chief Minister also claimed that the BJP deliberately leaked the police recruitment exam paper and said that this has shattered the dreams of 60 lakh youth of getting government jobs.

He said, "In the country, life is in danger from the vaccine and the Constitution is in danger from the BJP."

Recently, pharma major AstraZeneca admitted in a UK court that in "very rare cases", its COVID-19 vaccine can cause side effects related to blood clots, but the causal link is unknown. The AstraZeneca Vaxjavaria vaccine, also manufactured by the Serum Institute of India, was marketed as Covishield in India.

On the leaking of papers of competitive examinations, Yadav alleged that BJ deliberately got the papers of police recruitment examination leaked so that he would not have to give jobs following the reservation rules.

He said, "BJP has broken the dream of 60 lakh youth of getting government jobs. Now it will teach the ruling party a lesson."

Alleging that inflation has increased under the BJP rule, Yadav said, "The prices of essential commodities have doubled in the last few years." I am cautioning you...Now the Army job is only for four years and if the BJP repeats this in the government, they will do the same with the police jobs."

He said that this time there will be a vote for change in Bundelkhand and BJP will not get a single seat here.

He said, “Not one but two governments will fall in the future with your vote.”

Voting will be held in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections in Banda on May 20.
