New Delhi, Congress Ragini Nayak said on Thursday that the women of the country have been most affected by inflation.

People have "thali" but no food, they have vehicles but no fuel, they have degrees but no jobs, the Congress spokesperson said during a press conference at the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters.

"If anyone has been hit the hardest by inflation, it is the women of this country. Under the 'Mahalakshmi' scheme, we will give Rs 1 lakh annually to every woman from poor families. As soon as Congress and the Government of India get a shock, Nayak said Said- It is done, an amount of Rs 8500 will reach the accounts of your sisters, daughters and mothers from July 1.

He said that in order to provide full rights to half of the country's population, women, 50 percent reservation will be given in the new recruitment drive organized by the Central Government.

Nayak alleged that the country is facing the highest inflation in 35 years, unemployment is the highest in 45 years, the rupee has seen the biggest fall in 75 years.He further claimed that the price of LPG cylinder was Rs 414 in May 2014, which will increase to Rs 1,103 in July 2023. Petrol which was available at Rs 72 per liter in 2014 has reached Rs 95 per liter.

“Through ‘Pehli Naukri Pakki’, every educated youth will be given Rs 1 lakh annually through apprenticeship. We will give legal status to MSP (Minimum Support Price) for farmers. Respecting labour, we will raise the national minimum wage for workers.Rs 400 per day,” she said.

The BJP government has imposed GST on food items and daily essentials like milk, curd, cheese, buttermilk. He claimed that the irony is that there is 5 per cent GST on hospital beds and 1.5 per cent GST on diamonds. In the last eight years, the cost of hospital treatment has increased by 71.6 per cent and the cost of medicines by almost 55 per cent. If you eat outside, at street vendors, at stalls or in hotels, the expenditure has increased by about 55 percent, about 54 percent.Voting will be held on May 25 in the sixth phase on all seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi.
