The fact-finding committee for Madhya Pradesh consists of three members, Saptagiri Shankar Ulka and Jignesh Mevani.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday formed six fact-finding committees to find out the real reasons for the party's defeat in the general elections.

Members of these fact-finding committees will visit the states assigned to them.

During the visit, the committee members will meet state leaders and party workers.

To gather the real reasons, the committee members will visit different parts and not just a particular place or the state party headquarters and submit their report to Kharge.

Congress has faced a crushing defeat by winning only one out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in Chhattisgarh.

In the Madhya Pradesh Lok Sabha elections, the Congress had won two and one seats in 2014 and 2019 respectively, but lost all 29 seats to the BJP in 2024.

The vote share also declined to 30 percent in 2024 compared to 38 percent in 2019.
