Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], Rajasthan Bharatiya Janata Party President CP Joshi expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allotting four cabinet berths to Rajasthan leaders and accused Congress of spreading false narrative and lies since 1947.

Speaking to ANI, the Rajasthan BJP president on Friday said that the BJP will hold a meeting and discuss the Lok Sabha results as the BJP has won only 14 out of 25 seats in the state.

Joshi said, "I thank PM Modi for allotting 4 cabinet berths to the leaders of Rajasthan. Lok Sabha results will be discussed in the coming days. CP Joshi was a party worker and will always work for the party." Said.

BJP leaders Bhupendra Yadav and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat took oath as cabinet ministers, Arjun Ram Meghwal as minister of state with independent charge and Bhagirath Chaudhary as minister of state.

He further attacked Congress and accused the party of spreading falsehoods since 1947.

"The Congress party has been spreading confusion and lies since 1947 and this time it has been successful in it. Before coming to power, Congress had claimed that they would do this, but after coming to power they forgot all their promises.'' BJP always does what it says. We follow what we say in our 'sankalp patra', be it the state or central government," he said when asked about the major reason for losing seats in Rajasthan.CP Joshi further said that, after the formation of the government, we had set a target of 100 days in which 45 percent of the work has been done as per the party's resolution letter.

"It is a record that we have done 45 percent work from the Sankalp Patra in 100 days after forming the government. Rajasthan, which was becoming a gang war, has now been stopped by the Bharatiya Janata Party. PM Modi also said that for the next 100 days A roadmap has been made and with hard work and dedication the double engine government will work.

When asked about the Rajasthan budget session, Joshi said that the budget will be for the welfare of the public.

“Our focus both at the Center and in the state has always been on the poor who were deprived of basic amenities. We will work for women empowerment, education and farmers.There are many tasks which are important, and we have to complete them." A roadmap is being prepared for this.

He said that BJP is a "cadre based and people based party" and will work to strengthen the party.

The budget session of Rajasthan Assembly is to start from July 3. The state government will discuss the budget demands of various departments.

Joshi also congratulated PM Modi on being elected as PM for the third time.

“I congratulate PM Modi as the people of the country have elected him as PM for the third time and thank him that four people from Rajasthan have been represented in his team.It is not necessary that whatever decision we take will go. Well, whatever it is, things will come out after the review,'' he told reporters.

On Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader Indresh Kumar's statement that the BJP was limited to 240 seats, far below the majority mark, due to its arrogance, Joshi said, "I have not seen who said what."

He said, "I have not seen who said what. I will listen to it and then reply.",

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party has won 14 seats in Rajasthan, while Congress has won eight seats in the state. BJP, which won majority in Rajasthan by getting 24 seats in the 2019 elections, has come down to 14.
