New Delhi [India], In a scathing attack on Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that the party has become a "parasitic" party in the 2024 elections as it has eaten into the party's votes with the than his allies.
Replying to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President's speech in Lok Sabha, the Prime Minister said that majority of the 99 Congress seats were won due to the efforts of his allies.
"In 13 states, they don't have seats, but they consider themselves heroes. I would tell Congress people not to ignore the public mandate in a celebration of a fake victory. Now, the Congress has been a 'par-jeevi' party since 2024, which means the one who lives off his host and ends up consuming him. Citing the hit Bollywood film 'Sholay', the Prime Minister took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi and said that the Congress leaders' statements have surpassed even the film 'Sholay'.
"There was a 'Mausi' (aunt) in this. They (Congress) have lost for the third time, but Mausi, it is a moral victory. Mausi, we got 0 seats in 13 states, but he (Rahul Gandhi) is "The party It has been ruined, but the party still breathes. This new drama has started gaining sympathy," PM Modi said.
"But the country knows the truth: They are out on bail in the billions of rupees embezzlement case. They have been convicted in the case of calling OBC people thieves.
