Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh), Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Wednesday accused Congress and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal of being synonymous with corruption and said their only aim is to gain power and earn money.
At election rallies in Hamirpur and Una districts, he alleged that while the Indian Army was giving a befitting reply to the Chinese Army in Doklam, Congress leaders were talking to China behind closed doors.
Thaku said, "How much money has Congress taken from China and what signatures have been signed behind closed doors? Rahul Gandhi should tell this to the public."
He claimed that "while our soldiers yearned for better facilities, the Congress continuously weakened the army at the behest of enemy countries and acted as a broker of defense deals".
The BJP candidate from Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat alleged, “Congress and Arvind Kejriwal are synonymous with corruption and have no love and faith for the people.They are only working to earn money and get power to harass their opponents."
He stressed that the people of the country are very intelligent and will oust Congress and AAP from Indian politics.
Thakur claimed that Himachal Pradesh was given an assistance of Rs 1,700 crore by the Center at the time of the disaster during monsoon last year and 13 NDR teams were sent to the state to help the victims.
But Congress leaders are claiming that the BJP-led Center did nothing for the people during the disaster crisis, he said.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of election rallies, he alleged that BJP's rivals have already conducted caste surveys in some southern states where they are in power and "have taken away 5 per cent of the reservation reserved for the Scheduled Castes."", ST and OBC and it was given Muslim".
