New Delhi [India], A constable rank officer of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) allegedly slapped Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kangana Ranaut during a search at the Chandigarh airport, sources said. Was going to Delhi today.

According to sources, an inquiry committee comprising senior CISF officers has been constituted for further investigation.

Meanwhile, Ranaut has reached Delhi airport ahead of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting to be held in the Central Hall of Parliament tomorrow.

Kangana Ranaut defeated Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh by a margin of 74,755 votes.

According to the latest data from the Election Commission of India, he got 5,37,022 votes, while Singh got 4,62,267 votes.

Mandi parliamentary constituency holds symbolic importance for the Congress, as it is considered the stronghold of the Virbhadra family. This seat was occupied by Pratibha Devi Singh, widow of the late leader.

According to the results declared by the Election Commission of India on Tuesday, the BJP won 240 seats and with its allies, it is on 293 seats. Chandrababu Naidu's TDP and Nitish Kumar's JDU have supported the NDA by winning 16 and 12 seats respectively in their respective states.

India Bloc has 234 MPs in the new Parliament and Congress has won 99 seats.
