New Delhi [India]: A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawan allegedly died by suicide in Delhi's Dwarka North police station area.
According to the police, on receiving a PCR call regarding suicide on Monday, the IO along with the staff of PS Dwarka North reached the spot of incident i.e. CISF Camp, Dwarka Sector-16, Delhi, where a person was found hanging from a tree with plastic wrap. Police said that the 27-year-old jawan was a resident of Madurai, Tamil Nadu and was posted as a constable in the CISF Metro Unit.
The crime team inspected the crime scene as required. Police said investigation proceedings are underway and SDM Dwarka has also been informed.
No irregularities have come to light yet. The body has been kept safe at DDU Hospital in Hari Nagar, Delhi for post-mortem.
