Hemsworth and Downey Jr. said in a new interview that the crew is still contacting each other through a group text chain, which is how they first learned of Renner's accident.

"He kind of sent us all a drunk, hospital, beaten-up image and said, 'Okay, guys.' And then I didn't hear from him for a while because he was in that state." Hemsworth said this in an interview with Vanity Fair, reports Deadline.com.

Last September, Renner attended Chris Evans' wedding, where he praised her for her recovery.

Downey Jr. said: "If there's one characteristic we can all agree is paramount... it's flexibility." It was mind-blowing to see Renner take it literally and literally in the context of a Portuguese-American marriage. Fully recovered and ready to celebrate. So, yes, miracles do happen.

Hemsworth added: "He had an amazing sense of gratitude just to be alive."

Hemsworth also opened up about his regrets on 'Thor: Love and Thunder'.

“I got caught up in improvisation and silliness, and I became a parody of myself. I didn't stick the landing.

He added: “Sometimes I felt like a security guard for the team. I read everybody's lines, and I say, 'Oh, they've got great stuff. They're more fun.' What is my character doing? It was always about, 'You've got intelligence. You have muscles. You've got the dress."

"Where's the light?" Yes, I'm part of this big thing, but I'm probably pretty replaceable."
