Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Megastars Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth on Wednesday attended the swearing-in ceremony of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth were seen at the function at Kesarpally IT Park, Gannavaram Mandal, Vijayawada.

Both of them chose white outfits for this event.

Actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna welcomed Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth.

After reaching the program, Balakrishna also met Union Ministers Chirag Paswan and Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu.

On the stage, he was seen chatting with former Tamil Nadu CM O Panneerselvam.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo N Chandrababu Naidu took oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union ministers Amit Shah, JP Nadda and Nitin Gadkari, among others, were present at the ceremony.

This is the fourth time that Naidu has taken charge as the Chief Minister of Andhra and the second time after the bifurcation of the erstwhile state in 2014.

Naidu first became CM in 1995, before the bifurcation of Andhra, and he led the state for nine consecutive years till 2004. The TDP supremo returned as chief minister of divided Andhra in 2014 and served until 2019.

Naidu's son and TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh, Union Minister Rammohan Naidu and actor-turned-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna were also present on the occasion.Naidu had led the TDP-BJP-Janasena National Democratic Alliance to a landslide victory in the assembly as well as parliamentary elections.

The TDP supremo was unanimously elected leader of the NDA in the Andhra Assembly at a meeting of TDP, Janasena Party and BJP MLAs on Tuesday.

In the 175-member Andhra Pradesh Assembly, TDP has a majority with 135 MLAs, while its allies Janasena Party and BJP have 21 and 8 MLAs respectively.The opposition YSR Congress Party has 11 MLAs.
